Description: intense ruby red, on the nose a concentrated scent of red fruits, jam, hints of spices, vanilla and liquorice, full and dense on the palate, elegant texture, a perfect combination of acidity and sweet tannins, long, persistent finish. Awards: 96 points from Decanter.
Food recommendation: excellent with salami and hearty meat dishes, ideal with ripe pecorino and parmesan.
